Michael Ierullo is a highly accomplished musician and dedicated educator with extensive experience in music performance and pedagogy
Beginning his musical journey at the age of 4, he developed a profound passion for the piano, which led him to pursue advanced studies in Piano Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto. His versatile talent extends to woodwind instruments, as he is proficient in saxophone, clarinet, and flute.
Michael continued his education in the studies of Early Childhood Education at Ryerson University and Pedagogy in Early Childhood Music Education, Orff, and Kodály methods at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
Michael began teaching private lessons in students' homes at the age of sixteen in 1989. Following his formal studies, he founded and served as the director of The Etobicoke Conservatory of Music from 1996 to 2006. During this time, he also held various roles as a teacher and director in orchestra, band, choir, and musical theatre for grades 5 through 8 at several private schools in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
