Ric Galvez is a professional guitarist, songwriter, and instructor with over seven years of teaching experience spanning diverse styles such as metal, rock, classical, and pop. A graduate of York University’s music program, Ric has developed a deep understanding of music theory, technique, and performance, allowing him to teach students across multiple genres with precision and expertise.
As the mastermind behind Malice Divine, an acclaimed solo metal project, Ric has composed, recorded, and released multiple full-length albums, demonstrating his advanced skills in songwriting, technical playing, and creative expression. In addition to his extensive experience in rock and metal, Ric has also studied and taught classical guitar, refining fingerstyle techniques and musical interpretation, as well as pop guitar, focusing on chord progressions, accompaniment, and melody.
